Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Facility Support Technician serves as a utility worker performing a combination of functions as needed to properly care for University property and service customers. These responsibilities can include but are not limited to: Ensuring proper treatment and inspections of all university facilities and grounds as well as provision of emergency pest control. Providing support to university custodial operations. Providing support to facility services inventory control personnel. Performing custodial duties as required to offsite and specialty locations, and providing grounds keeping services to EKU properties.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required

Experience: One year of related work experience is required

Licensure & Certifications: Valid driver's license is required.

Job Duties:

• 30% - Performs custodial duties for assigned facilities, including but not limited to routine maintenance, inspections, general upkeep, Repair and provide preventative maintenance, and special cleaning requests as assigned. - ()
• 30% - Provides regular scheduled and on call treatment of University facilities to include: Dormitories, Academic Buildings, Residential Buildings, Off-Campus Facilities and campus grounds. - ()
• 20% - Assists with the coordination, acquisition, disposition, and control of equipment, supplies, and/or materials. Compiles and maintains accurate records for inventory control. - ()
• 10% - Maintains required records and schedules to ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and policies - ()
• 10% - Supports the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - ()
