Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Hospitality Services Coordinator supports the Hospitality Operations Manager in delivering exceptional service and daily operations at the University Club at Arlington. This position is responsible for overseeing the execution of club events, supervising seasonal pool operations, and ensuring an outstanding experience for members, guests, alumni, donors, and university partners.
The Hospitality Services Coordinator serves as the on-site operational leader during events and assists in hospitality, member services, and clubhouse operations. This position requires a highly organized, service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is committed to excellence.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Recreation Management, Event Management, or a relate

Experience: Two to four years of hospitality, event management, club, hotel, or food and beverage experience.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Job Duties:

  • % - Event Operations Coordinate and execute all private and club-sponsored events, including golf tournaments, member functions, weddings, banquets, alumni gatherings, donor events, and university functions. Serve as the operational lead during events to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest service. Coordinate event logistics with culinary, golf operations, grounds operations, and event clients. Conduct pre-event meetings and post-event evaluations to ensure continuous improvement. Maintain event setup standards and oversee room configurations, décor, and service timelines. - (Essential)
  • % - Seasonal Pool Operations Oversee the daily operation of the club's swimming pool during the summer season. Supervise seasonal pool staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment for members and guests. Coordinate poolside food and beverage service with clubhouse operations. Monitor compliance with all club policies, safety procedures, and health regulations. - (Essential)
  • % - Hospitality Operations Assist with the daily operation of the clubhouse, dining areas, banquet facilities, and member service areas. Maintain high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism throughout the club. Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally. Support food and beverage service during peak business periods and special events. - (Essential)
  • % - Leadership and Staff Development Provide leadership and guidance during daily operations in the absence of the Hospitality Operations Manager. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on exceptional service. Ensure staff adherence to club policies and service standards. - (Essential)
  • % - Administrative Responsibilities Assist with event calendars, staffing schedules, inventory management, and operational reporting. Support budget goals through effective labor management and cost control practices. Maintain accurate records related to events, pool operations, and departmental activities. - (Essential)
