Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Dual Credit Office at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a Dual Credit Observer to monitor dual credit courses for North Oldham High School.
The Dual Credit Observer is a non-instructional, FERPA-compliant role reserved for individuals employed or appointed by an EKU dual credit partner school. Observers are granted view-only access to designated courses in EKU’s learning management system (Canvas) for the sole purpose of monitoring student academic progress. Observers do not engage in instruction, grading, or direct communication with students through EKU platforms.
This position is approved and appointed by the EKU Dual Credit Office in coordination with the partner institution. Access is granted on a term-by-term basis and must be renewed each semester.
This is an unpaid role. The Observer is not employed by EKU.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
