Job Summary/Basic Functions
Seeking EKU Summer Institutional Work Study Student Assistants for the Summer 2025 EKU CSTEM Science and Math Camp, June 22-27, 2025.
The 5-day residential camp, June 22-27, 2025, provides regional rising high school junior and senior campers with a preview of life as a college student. They participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering and mathematical (STEM) activities, meet with a variety of University representatives, and take part in fun team-building projects.
Student Assistants will report to the Camp Assistant Director and Camp faculty. Responsibilities include: supervision of assigned high school level campers and assisting with academic activities, classes, and/or instruction.
Must be eligible for Summer Session Institutional Work Study and be a current/former EKU STEM undergraduate or graduate major. Must be 18 years of age or older and complete a background check for working with minors. Shifts will vary, depending on INWS qualifications and shift availability. Position pays $600 stipend.
