Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Hospitality Operations Manager is responsible for leading the hospitality operations of the University Club at Arlington, ensuring an exceptional experience for members, alumni, donors, university leadership, guests, and event participants. This position oversees all clubhouse hospitality functions, member services, events, and clubhouse staff while maintaining the highest standards of service, professionalism, and operational excellence.
As a key member of the club's leadership team, the Hospitality Operations Manager creates a welcoming environment that reflects the traditions, prestige, and mission of the university.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Experience: Three or more years of progressive hospitality/event management experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
Licensure & Certifications: Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Commitment to delivering exceptional member and guest experiences.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
Financial and business acumen with experience managing budgets and operational performance.
Excellent planning, organizational, and project management abilities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to build productive relationships with members, university leadership, alumni, donors, faculty, staff, and community partners.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
