EKU invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator of TRiO Student Support Services (NOVA). NOVA is a federally funded grant project designed to increase the retention and graduation of students who are first-generation, low-income, and/or have diagnosed disabilities. The NOVA Program at EKU was founded in 1975 and currently serves 206 students with programming related to academic success, health and wellness, diversity and belonging, financial literacy, and professional development. The Program Coordinator is both an administrative and student-facing role with responsibilities including office administration, fiscal management support, record keeping and reporting, event planning and coordination, personnel management, and other duties as assigned. The Program Coordinator should be committed to diversity and inclusion, attentive to the needs of students with differences and disabilities, energized by helping others, and invested in supporting student success and wellness. This position will report to and work closely with the NOVA Project Director to fulfill TRIO SSS grant requirements. The position is fully funded with federal grant funds, and continued employment is contingent upon the availability of funds. This grant is on year four (4) of a five (5) year award.
