Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a Dual Credit Observer to monitor Dual Credit Math courses for North Oldham High School.

The Dual Credit Observer is a non-instructional position designed for individuals employed by or appointed by active dual credit partnering secondary institutions. As an observer, the individual will be granted view-only access to select courses in the EKU LMS for the purpose of monitoring dual credit student academic progress without participating in direct instruction. The Dual Credit Observer will not have any formal teaching responsibilities but will be expected to maintain professionalism and respect the confidentiality and privacy of all students and staff members.

This position is reserved for individuals identified by the EKU Dual Credit Office and employed by or appointed by the dual credit partnering secondary institution. Appointment will be for the Spring 2025 semester with options to renew on a semester-by-semester basis.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Sponsorship: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
