Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Assistant Director of Athletics Marketing is, responsible for developing and implementing creative marketing and promotional strategies that elevate the game day atmosphere, enhance the fan experience, and strengthen student and community engagement. This role plays a key part in supporting the overall brand of EKU Athletics while fostering a culture of excitement, school spirit, and inclusivity across all athletic programs.
o Assist in the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing and promotional plans for home athletic events with a strong emphasis on enhancing the overall fan experience.
o Lead the development of gameday scripts, in-game promotions, and fan engagement initiatives for various athletic teams.
o Collaborate with creative services, communications, ticketing, and event operations to deliver cohesive and high-quality marketing campaigns.
o Support sponsorship fulfillment efforts by coordinating gameday activations and ensuring a high-quality presentation for partners.
o Provide oversight of student interns.
o Work closely with campus partners, student organizations, and residence life to create initiatives that drive student attendance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree.
Experience: One year of work related experience in intercollegiate athletics.
