Job Summary/Basic Functions

Eastern Progress editors oversee content creation for easternprogress.com and creation of the Eastern Progress magazine. Editors are responsible for writing stories, producing photo, video and audio products, and mentoring journalism peers.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Must be enrolled as a student at EKU.

Job Duties:

  • 50% - Content production for Eastern Progress Media Network - (Essential)
  • 25% - Peer mentorship of multimedia journalism students - (Essential)
  • 25% - Planning and design of Eastern Progress magazine - (Essential)
