Job Summary/Basic Functions

An EKU Interior Finisher Tech I completes initial construction and repairs of university floors, walls, and ceilings. Interior Finisher Tech I will have knowledge and abilities to work with various finish materials such as ceramic, plaster, drywall, paint, caulk, VCT, LVT, Carpet, etc. This position will work closely with the Craft Foreman and Structural Supervisor to complete work orders assigned in a quality, timely, and safe manner.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: - High school or GED required

Experience: 1 year or an equivalent combination of education experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Licensure & Certifications: Valid State Driver's License

Job Duties:

• 80% - Performs the planning, installation, maintenance, and repair of finish surfaces of all University facilities - ()
• 10% - Maintains records of time, materials, and resources according to established procedures - ()
