Job Summary/Basic Functions

Campus Recreation is searching for undergraduates student to join our Health Education Action Team (HEAT). Students selected will assist the Student Wellness Coordinator in the design and implementation of inviting and interactive wellness programming to educate their peers on holistic wellness. Topics may include but are not limited to mental health, physical wellness, healthy relationships and violence prevention, financial literacy, stress management, and environmental wellness. HEAT peer educators will receive applicable training to build their peer education skillset. Ideal employees are interested in helping others, organized, creative and willing to work as a team.

Minimum Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications: Must be enrolled at EKU.

 

 

  • Assist in the creation and implementation of health education for college students - (Essential)
  • Collaborate with team members and campus partners to facilitate inviting health education programs for college students - (Essential)
  • Research new ideas and best practices for implementing wellness programming across campus - (Essential)
  • Be a welcoming presence for other students at events, represent Campus Recreation and the Student Wellness Program with professionalism and integrity - (Essential)
